El Taller 2026 announces The Grad Showcase presenters
April 30th, 2026 | in person
Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to announce that The Grad Showcase will be held Thursday April 30.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to present their research and receive feedback from senior scholars in their fields. This time the event will be featuring Ana Fernández-Blázquez (Yale U), Andoni Pérez López (U of Pennsylvania), Grace Quasebarth (U of Pennsylvania), Dharma Seda González (NYU), and Molly Wagschal (Brown U). Here is the link to their presentation abstracts.
The Grad Showcase will be held at 5:30pm in the library of Espacio de Culturas (53 Washington Square South). Each presenter will speak for about 15 minutes, with about 5 minutes after for response from faculty. The event will be followed by a light meal for participants and attendees. We invite you to share this widely with faculty and grad students in your department and networks.
Faculty respondents: Luis Caballud Moreno (U of Pennsylvania), Pedro Cabello de Moral (Hunter), Antonio Córdoba (Regis High School), Nick Jones (Yale), Eduardo Matos Martin (NYU), Jordana Mendelson (NYU), Sarah Pearce (NYU), Vicente Rubio (Fordham), Benita Sampedro (Hofstra), Víctor Sierra Matute (CUNY), Jesús Velasco (Yale), and Mariana Zinni (Queens College).
Please fill out this google form no later than Tuesday, April 28 if you wish to attend.
We are very excited to learn about the new work in our fields!
