New Video Available: MARIQUITA: Tradición y Transgresión
Dear friends and colleagues,
We're pleased to announce that the full video of our recent event, MARIQUITA: Tradición y Transgresión, is now available to stream in the video archive on our website. Andalusian authors Jesús Pascual, director of ¡Dolores, Guapa! (2022), and Miguel Caballero, author of The Monument of Tomorrow: Avant-Garde Conservation and the Spanish War (Penn State University Press, 2025) talked about their current academic and artistic projects. The discussion explored the connections between intimacy and research, language and Andalusian queerness, and the relationship between Jesus Pascual’s and Miguel Caballero’s projects.
