CALL for Graduate Students!

Dear friends and colleagues,

El Taller would like to spread the word on this event hosted by and for graduate students that will take place at Espacio de Culturas at the end of the month:

On Thursday October 30th, the Portuguese and Spanish Student Organization (PASSO) at NYU will be hosting an informal Graduate Student Mixer at Espacio de Culturas. The organizers believe in the power of casual spaces for cultivating meaningful intellectual and professionally diverse relationships. Guests will be provided with food and drinks. This event is free and open to all graduate students within and beyond the Inter-University Doctoral Consortium whose research projects connect to Latin America/Abya Yala and/or the Iberian Peninsula. From El Taller, we encourage everyone to introduce graduate students to this event, as well as our programming and mailing list. Our goal is to continue fostering a shared, non-hierarchical intellectual community across the US, Spain, and beyond!
